After almost seven weeks I'm due to pick-up my new Lighting Strike Ghia tomorrow if all goes well. There have been many challenges in getting my car up here and it finally arrived in Darwin last week. Unfortunately it was damaged in transit (only two minor scratches) so the dealer had to send it off for repair ready for pick-up tomorrow afternoon. Now all I have to worry about is for Cyclone Ingrid to make her mind up as to where she wants to go (hopefully north away from Darwin) so the dealer doesn’t have any more excuse that may delay delivery. Fingers crossed I should be a proud Territory owner by tomorrow afternoon.
Unfortunately I need the car sooner rather than later as I'm scheduled to head off to Broome for a ten holiday, so I hope if there are any problems with the Terri, I'll iron them out in the nine days before we leave.
