Saw this in Bendigo yesterday morning, haven't seen it again though (I've been looking)

First Police Territory I've seen from any state.

I've noticed heaps of government departments with terris.

This is in SA. The number plates say SA GOVERNMENT on them.

3 in every 5 governments cars i've seen in the last year or so has been a terri.

Oh and a few of the churches around here. Go figure. Double as Hearses perhaps.

I hope the police aren't using them as pursuit cars - I'd know how to make a getaway in a chase: find the first long uphill run (as long as I wasn't driving a Territory myself!). They'd be good at catching Japanese 4WDs on winding roads though. Now if there was a turbo or V8 version....!

Now that'd be interesting in a pursuit (especially on a ditrt road) a turbo AWD terriotory after...well anything really. Lots of fun I reckon except for the higher centre of gravity.

youll find that they have Terris in Bendigo because of all the surrounding bushland and nothing more. they would have replaced the landcruisers they had. things do happen in bushland too where a normal squad car wouldnt cut it. (illegal motorbike riding, lost people, camping mishaps etc...)

That's the Raywood copper mate, he used to have a Subura Forester, now he has this.

he'd wanna watch the police lights on the roof if he went under anything a little low, like low branch on a tree or something.. terri's arent exactly short............

Ah, cheers Mr Galaxy. I guessed it was a replacement for a Forester and not a LandCruiser.

Queensland Police have a few unmaked Territorys running about, South Australian were trialling an unmarked Adventra for Highway Patrol use, and (ssssh!) NSW have at least one Adventra for the TAG.

In Canberra I saw a cop Territory, and an ambulance territory with all lights flashing flying through the traffic!
There are actually heaps of awesome dirt roads around Canberra! I fly through them, wonder if they could catch me?!
