Just a warning to be careful....

I was sitting in the passengers seat and was adjusting my butt position by levering myself up with the door armrest and "pop", the bracket which holds the trim in place broke. Will be replaced next week . But service guy says he has seen a few of these now.

PS. I'm 70kgs wringing wet, so I'm not a King Kong Bundy.

Same problem, same fix. I think the trim items are a bit under-specced, particularly that clip near the elbow. I think Ford assumed that there would never be any force in that spot. In other cars I think there's normally more door frame in that area rather than just trim - and the trim attaches to solid metal.
