:merry: Now that my Ghia AWD 7 seater has done 10k Km I thought a report was in order.

I have a Ghia AWD, 7 seater (more of that later), navigation system and tow pack.

I have just returned from two trips CNB -MLB- CNB and CNB-BRS-CNB and can report that the vehicle is a revelation in terms of seat comfort and general touring comfort. What a great pleasure to drive on long distances!

The air conditioning, adjustable pedals and Premium radio/CD system are all superb.
The navigation system is brilliant once you understand the user interface.

Fuel economy has settled into 12.5 l/100KM which I deem to be good for a two tonne vehicle; a six speed gearbox with a higher top gear will bring (say) 1900 revs at 110 KM/HR instead of the current 2200 and hence better fuel usage.
Overall an impressive package with excellent body panel fit and paint quality.

Internal plastics are cheap and easily marked; the stupid cargo cover and the lack of a footrest are the only negatives.

I have removed the 3rd row of seats as they weigh approx 90kg and I have no use for them. Is there anyone on this site who works for a Ford Dealer and can tell me the part numbers and prices for the two piece cargo floor in the 5 seater?

Hi Disco2au, they are a fantastic car for long distance cruising, I've never had a sore or stiff muscle after any of my long distance drives.

And also, welcome to the club.

That's why they won Wheels COTY.

Mine just went over the 10,000km mark on the weekend ... and very pleased with it.

I have a Terry thats done 16,000. I was interested in how you remoived the 3rd row of seats. I use them occassionally however when I go on long off road camping trips I would like the extra space.

Thanks

Mark

How much extra space do you get if you remove the seats????
Not that much really is it???
It's only a fairly flat small space under the floor.
