Count yourself lucky you havent come across one... I live in Gippsland and up until fairly recently was driving an hour to and from work everyday. The drive to work was ok-7am not many around, the drive home however was a different story. On average I think I passed at least 1 deer every 2 or 3 nights, there were at least 2 a week. I hit one in my AU XR6 Ute ! He was HUGE and was killed instantly, unfortunatley so was the ute.
