Yeah I have found over the years that Falcons and Jap cars (ie naturally RHD) have the fuel filler on the passengers side, and Commodores and German cars (ie naturally LHD) have the fuel filler on the driver's side. For me, this is yet another reason to prefer a Falcon over a Commodore as I can pull up at the bowser and actually open my door fully!
