I feel the same as you mate.
Although I drive a BFII sedan now, my fav car is still the XF ute I owned when I hit 18. It started with 380000km, and I sold it with over 517000km on it.
Yeah, I did replace a few things, but that to me was a blessing in disguise, as it kindled my interest in cars. Growing up in a rural area, where there was no public transport, the old girl gave me the freedom to go anywhere I pleased, at any time. So long as I had my wallet with me (to put fuel in her and hold my license) I was set!
She also never let me down. I wish I still had her. I now wonder where she is at the moment...
