I agree, I've found the 2.3L is very inadequate with the amount of weight it has to drag around, and the auto box doesn't help things around town either - the whole thing feels jerky/flat-spot like in its power delivery.

The best thing Ford NZ could do is not follow Ford Australia's lead and ditch the 2.3L for the new 2.0L Ecoboost engine, which gets much better fuel economy and power output.

If Ford NZ is reading this, then give us some high-spec wagons (Titanium) instead of the fleet targeted model line they have at the moment.
