I thought it was more of a quality thing, stainless being the better, also the tip would stay cleaner longer right?

Ahh fair enough! Guess that's what happens when most of the sites i've been looking at are american.
Looks like tomorrow i'll be removing the resonator and installing the K&N Apollo
and checking out the ringwood place for a quote.
