Because I dont want a 'family car'. I have a ute, this one is my third and they have all very rarely had anything in the back other than maybe luggage for trips away. I dont carry stuff in them and I am very fussy about what gets put in the back. Call me crazy - I dont mind, but I reckon I would weld the tub shut if I could.
