A combo of protex slotted discs with EBC ultimax pads are being spruiked to me as a good value & peformance choice by a local store. Yyur thoughts?

Protex rotors and TRW Ceramic pads for std everyday use and not performance as the Ultimax pads can be a bit noisy.
