I know its not a Focus, but I found my Mondeo lights the same. Especially after coming from a BA Falcon that had the 2 high beam lights each side. I tried a few bulbs but settled on Narva. Just cant for the life of me remember if it was the plus 100 or plus 120s.
My advice to you though if the set up is like mine, eg the low beam bulb stays on when you flick the high beam bulb is to also invest in a plus 100/120 low beam bulb too. I found this was the best way. As it gave good fill infront of the car as well.
I tried phillips and a few others and found the narva best however it comes down to personal preference i think a little bit. Oh and i hated the results from things like the Artic Blue etc. Must have gone through more then a dozen globes over the years till I found the combination I liked..
