Dealerships have costs, just like any business. Rent, utilities, wages, insurance etc etc. I believe even some floor stock needs to be bought by the dealerships.

With the prices that charge for parts and servicing, they’d make it up. When they’re not selling enough cars to get them through the service dept that’s when it spells trouble.
