I moved to Perth from out your way 2007, Orchard Hills, but past the Airbase, so rural, had a green zone put on it, 5 acres with one house, couldn't develop block.
My brother in Brisbane moved Perth 1985, wanted I think 135k dude turned up with 100k cash?....you can imagine what he told him, so it's been going on for a long time!
