When I told people I was selling my old Mustang to buy a new one, most people were perplexed as to why it wasn't one of the Falcon's. On face value, I sort of understand that, a Falcon is just a boring sedan with a decent engine.
However, they simply don't make Falcon's anymore. Not that I expect to be rewarded by that in the years to come, I didn't buy them as an investment. Rather, if I did sell one or both, where would I find another if I changed my mind. Can't buy one brand new anymore, and it would be hard to find another in the same condition on the used market. In other words, they are irreplaceable.
So, that's why I didn't sell one of them to make way for a new Mustang. There will (hopefully) always be another Mustang, but an Australian Falcon will never happen again.
