T Drive was an interesting concept of transverse (east - west) in-line engines with the transmission remaining in a central (north - south) alignment. Including 4, 6 & 8 cylinder engines. I wonder which Ford division had a decent inline 6 back in the 90’s

The rest of the driveline is conventional rear wheel drive. This car was probably built to demonstrate use of the near off-the-shelf driveline.
