first time commenter and just curious if anyone ended getting a good outcome for this.

I've noticed i need to replace the rear shocks and I'm NOT paying ford Australia the 1200 dollars each for a fix, after constant googling the last few days there is few options, but did notice that the Ford fusion comes up a lot as a suitable replacement fit, its the sedan mondeo in the U.S, which also seems like the same products for the aftermarket fixes on the MK5 estate and sedan in the U.K

both look the standard shocks and not self levelling which i don't give a dam on at the cost, but will new Springs be a must? hard to know or where to get them from.
