Looks like I've missed some posts.
So, I have the new shocks on, but not the springs! Turns out good old Ford have designed the Mondeo so the whole strut assembly has to be removed in order to change the springs. Apparently the mechanic didn't have the hoist he needed to do this. So now I'm looking for someone who can change the springs!
Anyway, the good news is the standard shocks work fine. Bad news, the car sags about 2 - 3cm on the old springs. Another option might be a spacer in or on the spring. Any thoughts.............?
