If that were the case I wouldn't have received a big warning email not to sell Stage 2 Bluefin tunes to customers unless they are buying or have already bought the GGR intake as they will not guarantee trouble free running. The
ECU is meant to flag up fault codes if you try and run stage 2 without the GGR intake.
If you want to use a COBB CAI id recommend sticking with a COBB tune.
