Also & despite my preference for Japanese built 'reliability:
200 LC - diesel only
Hilux - diesel only
Prado - diesel only
If I want to build a 4wd and want a petrol drivetrain, the Defender is now the best choice for flexible layout/bodystyles with a petrol motor.
(The Y62 Patrol is a great choice in the 5 door wagon bodystyle, too.)
