if anything you make the situation worse. most servos are franchises who have contracted to sell a certain amount of fuel. the Oil companies are going to insist they still spend the same, but their income is less. it's not the oil companies that are going to be hurt by any embargo like this.

Also, the next day when you need fuel, the servo can put another 20cpl on it which you will have to pay

Boycott will help the retailer not the consumer.
