Haha, I actually don't mind the idea. An EU military run by the EU to protect EU's interests. Its a strange situation that some members of the EU are not part of the alliance. NATO is run by some bloke on another continent to protect Europe's interests
, but I guess that bloke does happen to have all the advanced weapons.
And yep, UK has already done their own pact with Sweden and Finland. They probably saw it from a mile away.
