You think by now HSV and FPV (Ford) would have taken a leaf out of their Euro counterparts styling book ?
Look at M, RS, AMG cars, they are subtley tough; lower, wider bigger wheels, understated body kits, etc. A recipie that works.
HSV think it's all about how many cheap and non-functional extra bits you tack onto the body that make their cars cool and desireable, Ford just love to add garish 70's stripes and colour schemes to their "cool and desireable" models
.
They both scream "aftermarket".
Less is more.
