Series 1 had that horrid grille we all love to hate...
Series 2 used the Fairmont bonnet as standard
Series 3 had side skirts...
Thats the easiest way to tell the difference visually between the 3...
Series 2/3 had a different dash, bigger brakes and a few minor cosmetic changes.
Think
ABS became standard after Series 2 as well....
