I still prefer the paper one's in the PO box myself.

Biggest problem I found with Vicroads rego system is when interstate for a few months and a rego becomes due they won't send it to another address. Hence I guess why the E type renewals are a better option these days.
From memory I suggested they do this years ago (2013) when I was caught in Coffs Harbour with a rego due on the vehicle I had with me and couldn't get them to send it to me unless I changed my address details to NSW. WTF.

They sent it to my old mans address, he sent it to me care of the Post Office.
