Could be worse. My outstanding jobs list was 5 jobs awaiting parts. I got sent a new list with about 35 jobs i had no idea about. Its the jobs from the guy who got sacked a few weeks back. That list was a contributing factor to his sacking. Worst part is no parts were ordered so its back to square 1. I really hope the bloke didnt do his standard take a sample part, not order it and lose the sample. I dont like being left guessing.

Yeah that doesn't sound ideal at all so maybe I'm lucky in comparison.
I suspect a huge reason for his sacking! I guess you'll find out soon enough what he did or didn't do. Hope it works out ok....
Problem with the office I've worked for over a decade is it's only 30 staff all experienced but have very defined roles with different qualifications - so unlike some places where can cover absence in ours it's a nightmare!!!
But as previous I'm grateful to still being paid regardless what I'm asked to cover so I'm certainly not whinging etc.
