Agree completely on second point and no I don't take that as a shot at me at all. Certainly about not turning up also when others need a job asap.
Yeah having priority list is important for sure - in fact I have a meeting with my boss every Monday for that exact reason. Especially in these times it's even more important to know what needs to be done first etc!

Yeah mate that's the best you can do. I'm in IT and I'm good at what I do but at the end of the day we have a lot of managers who don't seem to want or know how to manage.
If nothing else this 'rona has checked me on a lot of things. As I have said before I got the **** in the GFC and that sucked but I prefer the situation I am in now.
A lot of luck of course but a lot of work in between those years.
