Thanks MightyMon - I'll explore that option, at the same time I work out how to tighten the gearstick surround panel (now squeaking 'coz its an ittty-bit loose).

That is exactly where mine is failing. Must be that itchy LH first digit !!!
The silver face suggests a more sporting persona (luv the red lettering), rather than refined luxe - not that that is a problem.
I presume these just clip in somehow?
