You lose two days of leave just commuting to/from.
Flight on QANTAS is like $150 each way, 1.5 hour flight, depends on how much travelling about the city you want to do but you're not losing the two days of annual leave in transit + fuel.
Its significantly cheaper to fly and Uber about rather than drive taking this into account.

The difference between you and most of the rest of us is that we want to get out and about with nature etc whereas you are happier bumming around the smoggy concrete jungle. We see and smell unspoilt nature,you see and smell the stink of cars and people
