That's a fair comment too Rob, it is a bit of a gamble, especially on long weekends from what I've seen but the positive is that there's a few different campground all in close proximity so whilst you might not find a spot at Rocky Paddock, there's plenty of other options nearby.

In all honesty though, unless you need a dedicated fire pit you could setup your Jayco almost anywhere as although there are about 40 dedicated sites, the Ranger didn't seem to mind people setting up anywhere, he even dropped off a half cut 44gl drum for one group who didn't have a firepit.
