No I don't think he has rang 13FORD about this issue prior. He was dealing with the same Ford dealer in hope that the issue would be rectified. And the dealer said everytime that it would be rectified. Obviously misleading tactics that Ford Australia had instructed their dealers to pass onto their customers as noted in their statement linked in the
OP.
