Audio Problem

Hi all,
I have a 2008 fiesta. My radio display turns off, then about 20 seconds later the actual radio itself turns off. So I turn the radio back on and soon it does the same thing all over again.
The problem seems to not be with the radio-component itself, as I bought a second-hand one and I installed it - yet the problem remains and.
I want the permanent solution for this problem.
Any suggestion will be appreciated
