Increasing the toe-in fixed excess tyre wear on the front inside on mine.

I now do my own front wheel alignment based on tyre wear and handling. If the tie-rod nuts are turned exactly the same amount I'm happy to set it anywhere in the negative range.

When Pedders say it's OK do they mean it's within tolerance or it's at the centre specification? My guess is the reason for a tolerance is to allow for individual differences in suspension etc.

Trevorb has noted on Talkford these cars generally track better with full negative toe. He's a retired Jaguar mechanic, so has experience.
