I've used the wording "automatically tell" & your working is "It will pick up any warnings linked".
Not much difference there.
The simple facts are my number plate was scanned (I assume automatically just driving past) & the fact the old owner had his license suspended was "quickly flagged" in some computer manner. Same result.
