My dad bought an EAII Falcon brand new in 1990. I don’t even think it lasted 2 years before it needed a head gasket. The transmission lost Reverse sometime around then too. I remember going back to President Ford in Elsternwick, and there was another EA parked out the front. It had “This car is a lemon” written all over it, and plastic lemons taped all around. People say “but old Kias and Hyundai’s” were terrible, and forgotten about the reality of other brands.
