I remember looking at Excels in 1998 (because my 1976 Holden was so reliable and all...), it seamed that era of Excels were about best in class. They had the DOHC 1.5L, and double the power of the Barina (Corsa). Unfortunately I ended up getting a better deal on the Barina. 0-100 in 19 seconds. 33kw. It was a joke.
