Like when the power lines fell off the pole a decade ago and started a bushfire that killed circa 170 people.

Imagine Adelaide with electric cars - they can't even keep the power on with 1.3M people
The transition is not happening in one year or 5 years. Norway is most aggressive at 2025, I think most over countries will be okay for 2030. This will be a ban on new cars, so if you really need you can buy a used one and last another 5 years.

10 years is a very long time, this is enough time to get the infrastructure ready, technology will also advance.
