Morwell (Gippsland) had one of these 50yrs ago before the Bass Strait industry took off. The Lurgi plant shut down once the cheaper offshore production took off.

The old plant site (which has gone thru several reboots over the decades) can be seen on StreetView on Tramway Rd, Morwell.
