I dont think the idea is to make your car use more fuel to cool it down, becasue the
ecu is still in control of the air/fuel mix, it just overides the air intake temperature sensor so the
ecu thinks its running cold air. its not actualy a 'mod chip' as such, its nothing more than a resistor, go to the electronics store and buy yourself one for $0.15 cents and test it, if it works bargain, if not its only 15c. I cant see any way it alone could damage your engine as it just gives the
ecu a fake sensor reading. id be interested to hear if anyone has tried it though and if it does make any difference in performance.
