Hi all trying to buy a v8 Capri in Nsw. Owned 7 of these when I was younger mid life crisis and all and never got my v8 running. Owned 1.6, 2lt, v6 but never drove my 302 v8. So I don't care where it comes from but don't want to payrediculous money for something unless it's worth it. It's not about speed or the quarter mile just about the ford purr of a 302 not even really a 351. Any way seems rediculous that I would have to reengineer a car back to a smaller motor if I cross borders. Spoke to RMS tech who said it would depend on the engineer and which rules or laws they choose but that is neither here nor their when I and an engineer would have so much work to do to make sure it could be done before I have bought a car (say if there were five cars I was looking at) any thoughts or suggestions.
