Victorians are set to cough up $785 million in fines to bolster the state government’s coffers in the coming financial year.
Red-light and speed cameras are set to hit $371 million, while police on-the-spot fines will generate $150 million in 2018-19, Tuesday’s state budget has revealed.
Non-traffic and court fines are expected generate a further $124 million.
The budget showed toll road fines are forecast to hit $140 million, up from an estimated $119 million in the current financial year
