The numbers you need for a 1969 GT 1600:

Model number: 13918

Chassis/body number: needs to start with CK17 and this number will be on the build plate in two parts (CK17J? then a five digit number). This same number should also be stamped on the slam panel, which is the panel that is on top of the grill. The number is normally found to the rear of the bonnet locking mechanism.

There will also be a number stamped on top of the drivers side front strut tower, which will start with J, and this is the same as the original engine number.

Love to see a few pics if you had them.

Cheers
Jamie
I will get some pictures next week and upload into the rebuild section, I'll p.m you when they are up.

Is there a danger in posting a picture of the compliance plate? That way you might be able to help me out a little more.

And thank you for your help, much appreciated.
