Push rods came in later than OHC. Nothing wrong with push rods. The old Windsors in the AU were push rod, decent little engine especially in the T series. The 5.6 was one of the if not the finest engine produced in AU. I rate it better than the 5.4 that followed in the B series.

Another one who has ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA !! The ONLY thing Pushrod engines came after was the even MORE PRIMITIVE Side Valve.
And what Experience have you had with AU Windsors & B series XR8s. As someone who has had an AU II 220 & BA XR8s, it Sounds like the answer is None
