Finally got them fitted. My hands were too arthritic effected to do so myself. So waited until mate used my mobile mechanic to have his car serviced using my driveway.(Mech's van doesn't fit under his apartment carpark)

Anyway they were fitted and tested used the washer function and no problems.(Don't worry it will rain in Melb soon as this 23c won't last) They were quiet and seemed okay.

My mechanic said to keep my old blades and they can be cleaned up. Only faulty due to my poor Mondy being always kept outside.

Best news apart from him not charging me was from a test of my battery that showed it was on the way out.(I did know that) but his test convinced me to go on eBay and buy a Mondeo battery from Jefferson Ford just down the road. Bought it and picked it up and fitted within an hour from buying it online.

Price $180.56 less eBay coupon on checkout came to $162.50
Then with a seniors card they fitted it for under $50
All up driveaway with new genuine Ford battery for $210
