Done some work on the multimeter and was able to check everything seems to be fine and matches up 1:1 with the wiring diagram i have from my Haynes workshop manual, so I took it into a auto electrician.
They told me that again, nothing's wrong with the wiring and there's no conceivable reason why it's not working. The one most probable reason they came up with was that since it runs through the fusebox, the
ECU most likely has some measure of control over the systems.
Just called a Ford dealer's service dept and they say there's a Central Control System on these new cars and most likely that's got something to do with it. Waiting for him to get back to me with an answer from the ford dealer technical hotline now.
