My Ford Type 5 box is all cast iron casing - bellhousing, main case and tail extension.
Burtons website says the same description.
If you have alloy anywhere, then you have something else (or maybe a super special lightweight version, if they exist).
And the gearchange is just soooooo much better than the old (admittedly worn) Type F.
p.s. Metric bolts.......include the one thru the cross member - bigger than Type F.
