2016 was the biggest year for Mustang in NZ - about 1,000 were sold, vs 6,200 here in Australia. Given the difference in population, this is exactly what you'd expect.

But in 2017, things got wierd. While over 9,000 were sold here in Australia, NZ sales fell to only 600! That's a 15x difference, compared with only 6x the year before.



Car sales in NZ have actually been 150k for the past few years. But then you've got another 100k+ grey imports on top of that.



Wow, I'm actually surprised at how many Challengers there are! There are 600 current generation (2009+) Challengers in NZ! Incredible. Here in Australia there would be much less than 100, I reckon.

There are also 93 Dodge Chargers from 2005 onwards, whereas here in Australia I doubt there would be more than a couple.
