All the big US pickups have four wheel disc brakes including the F450 that has a 15 tonne tow rating. Likewise all the Euro vans have gone four wheel discs. The Thai Utes have kept their rear drums due to cost

Excuse my ignorance, but how much would this actually save per vehicle? When they're selling so many they have more units to spread the cost over. Surely it wouldn't add anything noticible to the cost of the car?
