There are various geographies for mass stores for Lithium. Thankfully, none are in the Middle East. LOL.
Most of the known lithium supply is in Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, Australia and China.
The biggest issue will be China flooding the market with cheap LiIon batteries and taking control of the segment , as they currently do with Solar panels. If our dependency on Electric vehicles becomes large enough , then China will play a dominant role in Supply and demand , they currently manufacture @ 75% of the worlds batteries. The USA / China trade war is likely to become the new "middle east" power crisis.
