The one on my ute decided not to work anymore. I bought the rope kit but then came across a perfectly functioning one at the wreckers for a good price.
There are plenty of youtube videos on how to fix them. |

If the lubricant doesn’t work, then out for inspection and assessing the unit to ascertain the issue.
